Now for my pet peeve.....
This is fueled by a person from my circle of peeps, who shall remain nameless.
If you are not in the proper physical condition to do an extreme workout program (IE:INSANITY) That you need to modify it so much, that you really are not doing the program as designed......Then MAYBE you should re-access yourself. then do a program that was meant to be modified,(IE:90X) and STICK WITH IT until you can do the whole program without modification. I don't give a crap if you are getting bored with it! Stick to something and complete it!!!!! Don't keep changing the station because you don't like the song!!!! Because then you just hear a bunch of half songs!!!
If you can't do Plyometrics at full tilt, then you have NO Business even doing the warmup of INSANITY let alone buying ASYLUM!!!! Lose the body fat and get in shape. Quit making nutritional excuses!!!! Push the damn plate away!!! Go look yourself in the mirror and if you are still look the same after 5 or 6 rounds of this torture, FIX IT!!!

Do P90X over and over and over and over and over and over and follow the nutrition guide as written and get some damn results!!!!!!!
