THE LETHAL SCIENCE OF SPLENDA

THE LETHAL SCIENCE OF SPLENDA: "'Splenda/sucralose is simply chlorinated sugar; a chlorocarbon. Common chlorocarbons include carbon tetrachloride, trichlorethelene and methylene chloride, all deadly. Chlorine is nature's Doberman attack dog, a highly excitable, ferocious atomic element employed as a biocide in bleach, disinfectants, insecticide, WWI poison gas and hydrochloric acid."

Day 26

Day 26 Insanity /P90X Hybird

I have been  studying up on this sucrolose thing and also the aspartame, I am currently reading Sweet Poison by Janet Hull, She almost had to have her Thyroid nuked as she was so sick from too much aspartame, good story, points towards why we all need more nutritional education or guidance! It is sick all the stuff I have stopped eating !Thanks for the advice I found a Natural Whey with no sweeteners added.

I wrote a long post about my week, and it went poof, I was PO'd and got back to work!
Anyways here goes
Recovery week(#4):
Monday
Ran 4
Tuesday
Core cardio & Balance
Wednesday
Ran 4
Thursday
mow lawn and trim work ( 25 feet up on ladder , aka as wall hugging, that counts right?)
Every night I have painted a new bundle of cedar plank siding in garage.
Today FOY yoga, need it bad
So I have been working to get the cedar on back of house repaired, replaced and painted, I have reached up about 12 feet house is 25 feet high in back or (three stories), too fricking high for this old guy!
Tomorrow I will get out and rent a 30 foot JLG boom lift, it is on a trailer, self leveling pretty slick, and replace all the siding to the up to the overhang/ gutter , then paint it before returning the unit.the new siding has one coat of paint on it. so it should look brand new when done!
Sunday I will finish the wood I can reach above  the new deck and then be f''' done!
Yeah man!!
I went to the running club party at Gretchens house on Wednesday night it was cool, nice folks some of the guys and gals are triathletes , but most are ruuning 5k's 10 k's 1/2 and full marathons, There are a lot of connections to Buffalo, so maybe I will go run the Buff marathon in May next year!I did have some good dicussions with some of the people about Insanity and P90x and they were interested.
One of the young lads ran an 11 :35 Iron man in Lake placid impressive , I could not walk that long!
Where did JR go we were going to run the Rock and roll half in Vegas in December?
Signed up to run three four 5 ks before the holidays so it should help me improve my times.
be good all

Father Mike ... always looking out for the "little kids"!

This is why we love being Beach body coaches

Trudy is a good friend on Coach macs thread!

"Father Mike ... always looking out for the "little kids"! emoticon

Did you know I wanted to get back into working out this week? Did you know I skipped my workout yesterday because of the morning storms (and didn't want the power to go out during my workout)? And, did you know that I didn't have time to workout this morning because I needed to get to work early today?

Your invite to work out came tonight at a time when I was thinking that I should get my workout in (the boys are with their dad now for 2 weeks); I had even gotten dressed, but then got distracted on the computer.

Yup, your invite gave me the nagging reminder to get my butt in gear and get moving! I walked to work today for the first time in a week (and it felt great!). Supposed to rain later in the week, so I won't be walking for too long.

But, I did my Fast & Furious ... and got my hr up to 165! Was breathing hard and sweating profusely; still didn't do all of it; but it felt good, just the same.

Thanks, Mike!

Aspartame Side Effects

Aspartame Side Effects

The components of aspartame can lead to a number of health problems, as you have read. Side effects can occur gradually, can be immediate, or can be acute reactions.

According to Lendon Smith, M.D. there is an enormous population suffering from side effects associated with aspartame, yet have no idea why drugs, supplements and herbs don’t relieve their symptoms. Then, there are users who don’t ‘appear’ to suffer immediate reactions at all. Even these individuals are susceptible to the long-term damage caused by excitatory amino acids, phenylalanine, methanol, and DKP.
Adverse reactions and side effects of aspartame include:
Eye
blindness in one or both eyes
decreased vision and/or other eye problems such as: blurring, bright flashes, squiggly lines, tunnel vision, decreased night vision
pain in one or both eyes
decreased tears
trouble with contact lenses
bulging eyes
Ear
tinnitus - ringing or buzzing sound
severe intolerance of noise
marked hearing impairment
Neurologic
epileptic seizures
headaches, migraines and (some severe)
dizziness, unsteadiness, both
confusion, memory loss, both
severe drowsiness and sleepiness
paresthesia or numbness of the limbs
severe slurring of speech
severe hyperactivity and restless legs
atypical facial pain
severe tremors
Psychological/Psychiatric
severe depression
irritability
aggression
anxiety
personality changes
insomnia
phobias
Chest
palpitations, tachycardia
shortness of breath
recent high blood pressure
Gastrointestinal
nausea
diarrhea, sometimes with blood in stools
abdominal pain
pain when swallowing
Skin and Allergies
itching without a rash
lip and mouth reactions
hives
aggravated respiratory allergies such as asthma
Endocrine and Metabolic
loss of control of diabetes
menstrual changes
marked thinning or loss of hair
marked weight loss
gradual weight gain
aggravated low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
severe PMS
Other
frequency of voiding and burning during urination
excessive thirst, fluid retention, leg swelling, and bloating
increased susceptibility to infection
Additional Symptoms of Aspartame Toxicity include the most critical symptoms of all
death
irreversible brain damage
birth defects, including mental retardation
peptic ulcers
aspartame addiction and increased craving for sweets
hyperactivity in children
severe depression
aggressive behavior
suicidal tendencies
Aspartame may trigger, mimic, or cause the following illnesses:
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Epstein-Barr
Post-Polio Syndrome
Lyme Disease
Grave’s Disease
Meniere’s Disease
Alzheimer’s Disease
ALS
Epilepsy
Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
EMS
Hypothyroidism
Mercury sensitivity from Amalgam fillings
Fibromyalgia
Lupus
non-Hodgkins
Lymphoma
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)
These are not allergies or sensitivities, but diseases and disease syndromes. Aspartame poisoning is commonly misdiagnosed because aspartame symptoms mock textbook ‘disease’ symptoms, such as Grave’s Disease.
Aspartame changes the ratio of amino acids in the blood, blocking or lowering the levels of serotonin, tyrosine, dopamine, norepinephrine, and adrenaline. Therefore, it is typical that aspartame symptoms cannot be detected in lab tests and on x-rays. Textbook disorders and diseases may actually be a toxic load as a result of aspartame poisoning.
Ever gone to the doctor with real, physical symptoms, but he/she can’t find the cause? Well, it’s probably your diet, your environment, or both.
Aspartame is the common denominator for over 92 different health symptoms at the root of modern disease. The Aspartame Detoxification Program demonstrates the most effective way to reverse disease symptoms is removing the underlying cause - aspartame.
I counsel aspartame victims worldwide and have witnessed nine out of 10 clients restore their health by following the Aspartame Detoxification Program. Begin with detoxifying your body of all residual chemical toxins from aspartame's chemical make up of phenylalanine, aspartic acid and methanol and their toxic by-products, and see if any adverse health symptoms remain. Try the Aspartame Detoxification Program, and within 30 days your symptoms should disappear.
Steps:
  1. Remove all sugar-free products with aspartame from your diet.
  2. Learn to 'read' your body. Begin recording any health changes.
  3. Get a hair analysis.
  4. Be happy with yourself.
  5. Detoxify.
  6. Restore depleted nutrients.
  7. Exercise and get plenty of rest.
  8. Eat 75% raw foods at every meal.
  9. Drink water, water, water.
  10. Get control of your life.
I designed this Ten Step Program to help protect your health and the health of those you love from being seduced by the sugar-free diet craze. Wishing you good health.

What can you do about aspartame side effects?

Set an example by changing your diet.
  • Tell everyone you know.
  • Talk to the schools and day care centers. Offer to speak at parent-teachers meetings.
  • Contact your local, state, and Federal government representatives.
  • If you see someone with a diet drink, ask if they have had any of the typical aspartame side effects.
  • Spread the word at your work.
  • Distribute the Aspartame Consumer Safety Network and Pilot's Hotline
  • Tell your doctor about the scientific research available proving the negative side effects of aspartame.
  • Register a complaint with the FDA, the FAA, the NutraSweet Company about aspartame poisoning.
  • Return all food products with aspartame, opened or unopened, to your grocer. Tell him/her the products make you sick. The grocer can return them to the manufacturer for a store refund. The manufacturer should get the message. So, will the grocer.
  • Spread the word on computer networks.
  • Publish articles in newsletters at your church, place of work, or neighborhood association.
  • Set a personal example for health and wellness.Xlear - Spry Sugar Free Gum Spearmint, 20 boxes

Phenylalanine - Aspartame

NO MORE ASPARTAME !!!!

No More Poison!!!

Phenylalanine - Aspartame: "Phenylalanine - Aspartame
Phenylalanine is a hidden danger to anyone consuming aspartame. Most consumers don't know that too much Phenylalanine is a neurotoxin and excites the neurons in the brain to the point of cellular death.
ADD/ADHD, emotional and behavioral disorders can all be triggered by too much Phenylalanine in the daily diet. If you are one in ten thousand people who are PKU or carry the PKU gene, Phenylalanine can cause irreversible brain damage and death, especially when used in high quantities or during pregnancy. Phenylalanine is 50% of aspartame, and to the degree humans consume diet products, Phenylalanine levels are reaching a dangerous peak.
It is important to learn about the ingredients within your foods, especially isolated amino acids like Phenylalanine. They are in combination within nature for a reason - they don't belong in isolated form for the healthy human diet."
\

Phenylalanine - Aspartame

Nutrition fact about Phenylalanine in aspartame:
The 1976 Groliers encyclopedia states cancer cannot live without phenylalanine. Phenylalanine makes up 50% of aspartame.
Phenylalanine is one of the essential amino acids found in proteins, but I am one of the believers that amino acids should be eaten in combination, not in isolated form. Nature provides amino acids in combination; only man isolates them for processing purposes.
Phenylalanine is found naturally in foods such as eggs, milk, bananas, and meat. If you are PKU (Phenylketonuric) or sensitive to phenylalanine, you will react to the phenylalanine in aspartame. You may want to get a blood test to check for this condition. Over the past 20 years, humans have become more aware of PKU reactions because human beings began using isolated phenylalanine to the degree it is harmful to some individuals, many as aspartame side effects. My suggestion would be to research PKU and phenylalanine extensively. Phenylalanine can be very harmful to diabetics.
Read all food labels and avoid anything with isolated amino acids. You want to buy products with at least eight amino acids in combination.

Aspartame Side Effects

There are over 92 different health side effects associated with aspartame consumption. It seems surreal, but true. How can one chemical create such chaos?
Aspartame dissolves into solution and can therefore travel throughout the body and deposit within any tissue. The body digests aspartame unlike saccharin, which does not break down within humans.
The multitude of aspartame side effects are indicative to your genetic individuality and physical weaknesses. It is important to put two and two together, nonetheless, and identify which side effects aspartame is creating within you.
